We are looking for a self-driven, high-conviction investment professional to act as an Investment Analyst while delivering institutional-grade primary market research. You think independently, challenge consensus, and avoid groupthink—able to form a view from first principles and defend it with evidence. You are intellectually curious, proactive, and invest with genuine passion—someone who takes ownership, moves fast with high standards, and leverages modern AI tools to work smarter.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in primary market analysis.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
AI tools proficiency: comfortable using AI copilots/LLMs for research acceleration (filings/news/transcripts synthesis, prompt literacy, workflow automation); Python/SQL is a plus.
Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Personal attributes: self-starter, accountable, resilient, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, independent-minded, and deeply passionate about investing.
Research & Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, macro indicators, and industry trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.
Independent View Formation: Develop differentiated theses, actively test assumptions, and present non-consensus perspectives backed by data (no “committee-by-default” thinking).
Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain models and valuation frameworks across equities, bonds, and other assets; run scenario/sensitivity work and catalyst tracking.
AI-Enhanced Research: Use AI tools to improve speed and breadth of coverage (screening, summarizing, extracting key drivers), with strict verification and source discipline.
Reporting & Recommendations: Write clear, decision-ready investment notes and present recommendations to portfolio managers.
Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor performance, exposures, and risk metrics; produce periodic portfolio reports (performance attribution, risk commentary, thesis changes, key events) and elevate issues proactively.
Market Monitoring: Stay current on political, economic, and sector developments that impact pricing, liquidity, and sentiment.
