Binance is seeking a Legal Investigations Counsel for a 12-month contract to work with the Compliance team on high-impact investigation case files and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities

• Conduct legal review of Compliance investigation case files for risk and regulatory issues.
• Analyze regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Help define and refine roles and responsibilities between Compliance and Legal counterparts in the investigation process.
• Track case volume and turnaround against SLAs; support resource capacity planning.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and privilege protections on all escalated matters.
• Provide ad hoc legal analysis and support as directed by the Legal team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal review of Compliance investigation case files for risk and regulatory issues
• Analyze regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Help define and refine roles and responsibilities between Compliance and Legal counterparts in the investigation process
• Track case volume and turnaround against SLAs; support resource capacity planning
• Maintain strict confidentiality and privilege protections on all escalated matters
• Provide ad hoc legal analysis and support as directed by the Legal team

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of experience
• Law firm background with hands‑on experience conducting investigations — any investigation practice area considered, as long as investigations are the core of the experience
• Strong analytical and written communication skills; able to produce clear, well‑structured case assessments
• Comfortable handling sensitive, high-volume casework under deadlines
