Job summary

PARKnSHOP Supermarket is seeking an Assistant Business Analyst in Inventory Planning to optimize stock levels across banners. You will analyze data on inventory management, forecasting and demand planning, develop reports and dashboards, and support replenishment systems to improve stock allocation and service levels.

The role requires a university degree in supply chain related field, 2 years’ experience in FMCG/retail, and strong Excel/SQL skills; Power BI and Python are a plus.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Economics or related discipline.
• 2 years’ working experience, preferably in FMCG or retail industry.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, VBA & SQL) and statistical/data-mining tools.
• Knowledge on Power BI & Python will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support on stock management to enhance the efficiency of supply chain activities and forecasting accuracy.
• Review inventory and stock allocation plans by producing and compiling reports (e.g. Slow Movement, Stock Week Coverage and On-Shelf Availability).
• Analyze product demand considering market and seasonal factors, and develop inventory planning proposals.
• Maintain the database accuracy and review replenishment system setting regularly.
