Job summary

Gensler in Hong Kong invites a digitally fluent Interior Designer to join our team and shape AI-driven workflows across projects. You will work on concept development, documentation, and client presentations while exploring automation and generative design to boost creativity and efficiency.

The role emphasizes integrating AI tools with traditional interior design, collaborating with senior designers, and contributing to a fast-paced studio culture with global PD support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor19s degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in design authoring tools: Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD; and rendering tools: Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion or similar.
• Familiarity with AI image & video tools such as: Gemini, Flux, Midjourney, Seedream, Kling, Veo, etc. Experience with automation workflow (e.g. vibe coding, python, grasshopper, dynamo, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Good communication skills (English required; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment

• Create high-quality 3D models and renderings
• Support presentation materials and client decks
• Utilize AI tools for visualization, rendering enhancement, mood board generation; enhance standard design-visualization workflow

• Explore opportunities for automation and generative design, such as layout iteration, design option testing, and documentation efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers and project managers

Your Role

This role is ideal for a technology-forwarded designer with 1-3 years of experience who is comfortable working across traditional interior design deliverables while also exploring AI-enhanced workflows, visualization tools, and automation to improve efficiency and creativity.
