UBS in Hong Kong seeks a mid-level Trade Support professional to balance business growth with rigorous controls. The role focuses on Delta 1 products like Equity Swaps, SBL, and Prime Brokerage, coordinating with China/India teams to meet Front Office expectations and market cut-offs.

You will manage front-to-back controls, ensure accurate trade details, and collaborate with Trading, Settlements, and Finance. A proactive, detail-driven mindset is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent (any discipline welcomed).
• 1–3 years of experience in Investment Banking across Corporate Actions, Trade Support, SBL, P&L, Settlements or Prime Brokerage would be ideal.
• Strong interest in mechanics of the financial market and ability to articulate basic concepts in Finance.
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Pragmatic 'can do' attitude and risk mindset with ownershipResponsibilities.
• Self-starter who can learn and apply new knowledge quickly.
• Dedicated team player who collaborates with different functions from different locations.
• Good communicator, able to convey information clearly at all levels with stakeholders.
• Highly responsible and able to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Manage under stress to deliver best-in-class trade support across major APAC markets on Delta 1 products such as Equity Swaps, SBL and Prime Brokerage.
• Work with support teams in China/India to ensure Front Office expectations are met and quick turnaround to requests for tight market cut-offs.
• Understand Front-to-Back operational risks and apply this knowledge to ensure integrity of trade details in systems.
• Perform front-to-back controls to ensure positions and trades are properly reconciled.
• Engage with internal partners (Trading, PB Account Managers, Settlements & Confirmation, Finance, etc.) for operational support.
• Proactively identify and address control gaps.
• Participate in process enhancements initiatives and testing on system changes.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Manage under stress to deliver the best-in-class trade support across major APAC markets on Delta 1 products such as Equity Swaps, SBL and Prime Brokerage
• Work alongside support teams in China/India to ensure Front Office expectations are being met, quick turnaround to requests to meet tight market cut-offs
• Understand the F2B operational risks and apply this knowledge to ensure the integrity of our trade details in our systems
• Perform front-to-back controls to ensure position and trades are properly reconciled
• Engage with internal partners (Trading, PB Account Managers, Settlements & Confirmation, Finance, etc) to provide operational support
• Proactively identify and address control gaps
• Participate in process enhancements initiatives and new business roll‑out, and the associated testing on system changes

The team

You’ll be working within the Financing Middle Office in Hong Kong. We support the trading activities of the Global Market business in APAC, with a focus on Delta 1 products, SBL and Prime Brokerage Services.

Your Skills And Experience

• Bachelors/Master’s degree or equivalent. We welcome candidates from all disciplines.
• 1-3 years of experience working in Investment Banking, across Corporate Actions, Trade Support, SBL, P&L, Settlements or Prime Brokerage would be ideal.
• Strong interest in the mechanics of the financial market and ability to articulate basic concepts in Finance would be a must.
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Pragmatic "can do" attitude and risk mindset along with full accountability to take ownership
• Self-starter who can learn and apply new knowledge very quickly
• Dedicated team player who collaborates well with different functions from different locations
• Good communicator, who can confidently convey information, both written and verbal, appropriately at all levels with stakeholders
• Highly responsible, self-motivated, efficient and able to work under pressure
• Passionate about understanding the business and learning about products in the Financing space
