Job summary

UBS Group AG in Hong Kong is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the Premium Advisory Specialist. You will perform daily transaction processing, risk-profile reviews, and portfolio monitoring while maintaining strong client relationships.

This role involves extensive liaison with Client Advisors and other stakeholders to implement investment strategies, with opportunities to learn how AI can streamline workflows and ensure compliance with policies and risk standards.

Qualifications

• Finance-related degree or equivalent.
• HKSI papers 1/7/8 or License Type 1 equivalent is preferred.
• Strong English and Mandarin/Cantonese; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support senior Premium Advisory Specialist in daily activities.
• Carry out transaction processing and troubleshooting.
• Review client risk profile and client preferences regularly.
• Monitor international markets and client portfolios.
• Maintain relationships with clients and internal/external parties.

• support senior Premium Advisory Specialist
• carry out daily transaction processing and complex troubleshooting
• perform regular reviews of the client risk profile and the client preferences
• monitor the international financial markets and clients' portfolios
• maintain good relationship with internal and external clients
• liaise extensively with Client Advisors and other parties in connection with the bank's investment process
• contact clients together with senior advisors with market updates and ensure a constant flow of opportunistic and tactical investment content and recommendations

The team

You’ll be working in the Premium Advisory Specialist team (PAS) covering clients out of Hong Kong. We provide proactive investment advice based on the UBS investment policy, and support clients in the implementation of appropriate investment products and strategies. We monitor the portfolios on an ongoing basis, execute and report client trades, maintain up-to-date client records and documentation to ensure adherence to agreed investment mandate objectives (SAA/TAA), compliance requirements and trading procedures.

Your skills and experience

• 2-6 years of work experience
• a finance-related University degree and/or CFA, CFPI diploma or equivalent
• relevant professional qualification (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8) or License Person of Type 1 or equivalent
• excellent knowledge of English & Mandarin/Cantonese required, any other regional language a plus
• methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
• great computer skills and the willingness to learn
• curiosity to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
