Job summary

UBS Group AG in Hong Kong seeks an experienced professional for the Global Markets Advice Premium Trade team. You will provide proactive equity advisory, execution services and maintain long-term client relationships with GWM clients, including Family Offices.

The role requires 7+ years in equity advisory/trading, fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and HKMA Type 1 & 4 licenses. You will navigate regulatory requirements and uphold best execution standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in equity advisory/trading/execution.
• Strong relationship management, analytical and risk skills.
• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and macro a plus.
• HKMA Type 1 & Type 4 licences or equivalent.

We are looking for someone like you to:

• provide proactive advisory and execution service for our GWM clients, primarily in Cash Equity, Derivatives; experience in Fixed Income is a plus
• keep abreast of market developments and trading opportunities; have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies
• maintain long term client relationships
• be part of the APT Team that provides seamless coverage to onboarded clients
• adhere to regulations and internal policies, including, but not limited to, quality of execution (examples: "best execution", "fair and reasonable"), pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance guidelines
• manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, compliance risk, etc., evaluating options and making decisions

The team

You will be working in the Global Markets Advice Premium Trade team in Hong Kong, covering Wealth Management clients and Family Offices.

Your skills and experience

• university degree or other recognized qualification
• minimum 7 years' professional experience in Equity advisory/trading/execution (Cash & Derivatives OTC/Listed)
• outstanding relationship management capabilities with strong analytical, risk management, marketing, communication and interpersonal skills
• fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to support the local client base
• IT skills: Microsoft - Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel (Knowledge of Macro will be an advantage)
• qualifications or license(s) to perform the advisory & trading function as required, such as HKMA Type 1 & Type 4
