Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong is seeking a QA professional with 5+ years of experience to lead testing across insurance core systems, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer servicing.

You will design and execute test plans, perform SIT/UAT and API testing, validate data with SQL, and collaborate in an Agile environment to drive quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/testing experience in enterprise apps.
• Experience testing insurance core systems across front-to-back functions.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, system integration, end-to-end, regression, and UAT testing for insurance core systems.
• Validate front-to-back insurance processes including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer servicing.
• Execute API, interface, batch, and database testing to ensure system integration and data accuracy.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects, working closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
• Support release testing, production deployment validation, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
