Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a QA Tester to support API and data testing within a digital transformation project in a collaborative Agile environment in Hong Kong.

You will review requirements, design test cases, execute functional and integration testing using Postman and SQL, track defects, and work closely with analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure stable business flows across complex processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in functional and integration testing for business applications.
• Strong ability to translate business processes into test scenarios and cases.
• Experience using Postman for API testing, including requests, responses, and scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and test data preparation.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand business requirements, user stories, and solution designs for assigned projects.
• Design, prepare, and execute functional test cases for system and regression testing.
• Design, prepare, and execute integration test cases, covering end-to-end flows across multiple systems.
• Use Postman or similar tools to test APIs, validate API integrations.
• Use SQL to query databases, validate data and testing results.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and defect logs; retest fixes.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and project meetings; raise risks or issues.
• Contribute to regression testing for releases and changes.
