Job summary

Youxfort Holdings Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to turn strategy into day-to-day execution across recruitment, training, activity management, policy processing and compliance operations.

The role leads front-line management of the IFA/broker force, builds SOPs, coordinates licensing and CPD, and manages budgets, vendors and CRM systems while reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 8 years in insurance broker, agency-channel or wealth-management operations, including at least 3 years in team management.
• First-hand experience leading an IFA or insurance broker team, recruitment, training and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day broker operations including headcount and activity management.
• Oversee policy processing, servicing, renewals and client service.
• Coordinate licensing and CPD compliance for licensed brokers.
• Embed sales process, disclosure, client-money and file-management requirements with Compliance.
• Manage department budget, vendors and internal systems (CRM, policy admin, commission calculation).
• Submit a monthly operating report to the CEO.

Job description

We are an insurance broker company licensed by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority and are expanding our IFA and licensed technical representative (broker) teams. We are seeking a COO to turn strategy into day-to-day execution: recruitment, training, activity management, policy processing and compliance operations.

Run day-to-day broker operations, including headcount, activity management, new business processing, policy servicing, renewals and client service.

Lead front-line management of the IFA / broker force: selection, onboarding, joint field work, coaching, grading and retention.

Build standard operating procedures and improve cases per adviser, persistency and complaint turnaround.

Coordinate licensing and people operations so that anyone carrying on regulated activities holds a valid technical representative (broker) licence and completes continuing professional development.

Work with Compliance and the Responsible Officer to embed sales process, disclosure, client-money and file-management requirements.

Manage the department budget, vendors and internal systems (CRM, policy admin, commission calculation), and submit a monthly operating report to the CEO.

Bachelor’s degree or above.

At least 8 years in insurance broker, agency-channel or wealth-management operations, including at least 3 years in team management.

First-hand experience leading an IFA or insurance broker team, and familiarity with recruitment, training, activity management and basic commission structures.

Working knowledge of the Insurance Authority’s conduct, licensing and operational requirements for licensed insurance broker companies, and the ability to balance pace of business with compliance.

Strong execution skills, with a record of standardising processes and coordinating across functions.

Good English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).

Current or former Insurance Authority technical representative (broker) licence; IIQE Papers 1, 2, 3 and 5 passed is an advantage.

Previous role as branch head, channel director, head of operations or equivalent at a licensed insurance broker company.

Experience implementing a CRM, commission system or digital sales tool.
