Job summary

KOS International Limited seeks an experienced CEO to lead a high-growth HK-licensed insurance broker. You will shape strategy, drive expansion and oversee operations across insurance and wealth services, ensuring regulatory compliance and stakeholder alignment.

The role requires a strong track record in regulated financial services, P&L ownership, and the ability to build teams and scale revenue in a dynamic startup environment in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of senior leadership experience in financial services, insurance brokerage, wealth management, or related regulated sector.
• Proven P&L responsibility and a track record of revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of HK insurance-brokerage landscape and regulatory expectations.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's long-term vision, commercial strategy, annual operating plan and expansion roadmap.
• Act as the principal executive contact for shareholders, strategic partners, insurers and regulators.
• Lead growth of the brokerage across corporate, commercial, life, medical, employee benefits, wealth-planning and HNW segments as relevant to strategy.
• Develop phased market-entry plans for new verticals, including target clients, economics, licensing, operating model and risk controls.
• Provide visible leadership with clear commercial objectives, conduct expectations and performance standards.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including sales, servicing, operations, finance, technology, legal, compliance and risk management.
• Design an efficient organisational structure with resources, controls and governance to support current and planned business.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, capital management, revenue growth and profitability improvement.

Our client is an entrepreneurial startup HK Licensed Insurance Broker firm, seeking for an experienced and commercially driven CEO to lead and drive its next phase of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the company's long-term vision, commercial strategy, annual operating plan and expansion roadmap.
• Act as the principal executive contact for shareholders, strategic partners, insurers and regulators
• Lead the growth of the existing insurance brokerage business across corporate, commercial, life, medical, employee benefits, wealth-planning and/or high-net-worth client segments, as relevant to the company's strategy.
• Develop a phased market-entry plan for each new business vertical, including target clients, commercial economics, licensing implications, operating model, technology requirements and risk controls.
• Provide visible and accountable leadership to the organisation, setting clear commercial objectives, conduct expectations and performance standards.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations, including sales, client servicing, operations, finance, technology, legal, compliance and risk management.
• Design an efficient organisational structure and ensure sufficient resources, competent personnel, systems and controls are in place to support the company's current and planned business.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, capital management, revenue growth and profitability improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10-15 years of progressively senior leadership experience in financial services, insurance brokerage, wealth management, securities, fintech, digital assets or another closely related regulated sector.
• Proven experience leading a regulated business, business unit, brokerage, insurer, financial-services platform, fintech or high-growth financial institution.
• Proven P&L responsibility and a strong record of building businesses, developing client relationships and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of HK insurance-brokerage landscape, including client protection, governance, conduct, risk management, distribution and regulatory expectations.
• Strong strategic, commercial, operational, financial-management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong operational leadership experience, including building teams, implementing controls, improving processes and managing budgets.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
