Job summary

Futu Holdings Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Operations professional to manage the full lifecycle of institutional client accounts and support trading-related workflows. You will verify, enter, and track instructions for trading, clearing, settlement, funding, and withdrawals while coordinating with front and back offices to resolve processing exceptions.

The role requires fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, a finance/CS background, and familiarity with options, futures, and stocks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiar with financial products such as options, futures, and stocks; possesses strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and remain calm in emergency situations.
• Programming experience (Python/SQL) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of account opening, changes, and maintenance for institutional clients of financial institutions.
• Assist in executing institutional business transactions, including receiving, verifying, and entering instructions for trading, clearing, settlement, funding, and withdrawals.
• Track transaction execution status and coordinate with front and back offices to resolve any exceptions or issues during processing.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to respond to institutional clients' daily operational inquiries and requests.
• Work closely with back-office clearing, settlement, finance, and risk control teams to optimize business processes and improve processing efficiency.
• Assist in drafting and revising standard operating procedures (SOP) documents related to middle-office operations.
• Identify and report potential operational risks, and participate in team internal control improvement projects.
