Job summary

Unicode Digital is seeking a seasoned BD/fundraising professional to drive capital formation for itsAsset management business. You will expand investor networks, establish fundraising channels, and manage long-term relationships with institutional and private investors.

You will lead investor communications, support due diligence, and collaborate with internal teams to prepare materials and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, wealth management firms, and other potential LPs.
• Lead investor communications, due diligence support, and follow-up aligned with the product roadmap.
• Build and maintain fundraising channels with family offices, private banks, wealth managers, and external partners.
• Collaborate with internal investment, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams to prepare investor materials and streamline workflows.
• Monitor market capital flows and investor allocation preferences to inform product development and fundraising strategy.
• Contribute to the setup and scaling of the BD team and channel infrastructure.

We are building out our asset management business and are looking for a seasoned BD/fundraising professional to drive capital formation. You will be responsible for expanding investor networks, establishing fundraising channels, and managing long-term relationships with institutional and private investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, wealth management firms, and other potential LPs.
• Lead investor communications, product presentations, due diligence support, and follow‑up activities in line with the firm’s investment product roadmap.
• Build and maintain sustainable fundraising channels, including family offices, private banks, wealth managers, fund distributors, and other external partners.
• Collaborate with internal investment, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams to prepare investor materials, manage feedback, and streamline workflows.
• Monitor market capital flows and investor allocation preferences, providing actionable insights for product development and fundraising strategy.
• Contribute to the setup and scaling of the BD team and channel infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience in asset management, private equity, wealth management, family offices, fund distribution, institutional BD, or investor relations.
• Strong existing network of investors or distribution channels, with the ability to independently originate and convert new clients.
• Solid understanding of fundraising processes for private funds, hedge funds, alternative investments, or cross‑border asset management products.
• Excellent communication, client servicing, and project management skills.
• Results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, iterative environment.
• Experience with offshore capital, international family offices, institutional clients, private banks, or wealth channels is a strong plus.
• Good command of English is preferred.

Preferred Background

• Family offices, private banking, or wealth management.
• FOFs, fund of funds, fund distribution, or asset management product sales.
• Hedge funds, private equity, or alternative investment firms.
• Fund administration, fund operations, or investor relations roles.
• Established connections with institutional clients or family offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, or the Middle East.
• Experience with USD funds, offshore funds, or cross‑border investment products is highly desirable.

Location

Hong Kong / Singapore / Middle East / Shenzhen – flexible. Candidates with access to offshore capital or institutional channels are particularly welcome.
