Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate mechanical systems for major infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, and process teams to deliver practical, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include preparing calculations and drawings, participating in design reviews, and supporting construction activities. A degree in mechanical engineering and HKIE membership are preferred, with experience in water/waste projects and strong English

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• HKIE Corporate Member or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in design and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Experience in water, wastewater, power, waste, or utility infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for infrastructure facilities and manage coordination with related teams.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, drawings and tender docs.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical and process teams.
• Participate in design reviews, project planning and construction support.
• Ensure designs comply with local and international standards.
• Assist in stakeholder and client coordination throughout delivery.
