Job summary

Jacobs is seeking candidates for the Technical Team to support Geotechnical Projects in Hong Kong. Responsibilities include data input, slope data maintenance, occasional site inspections, and preparation of inspection reports for slopes and retaining walls.

Requirements include a CIC HK certificate or polytechnic-equivalent, proficiency in Word/Excel, and English/Chinese language skills. Experienced candidates welcomed; senior roles may apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate/qualification from CIC Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
• English language proficiency at HKCEE/HKDSE Level 2 or above.
• Chinese language proficiency at Level 3 or above.

Your impact

We are now seeking candidates to fill the vacancies on the Technical Team for Geotechnical Projects. This position will provide you the opportunity to utilize your expertise in the following aspects

• Regular data input, updating and maintenance of slope data and other slope maintenance records;
• Occasional site inspections with experienced team member;
• Preparation of inspection reports for slopes and retaining walls.

Here's what you'll need

• Certificate from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/ Hong Kong Institute of Construction/ Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/ technical institute/ technical college/ a Hong Kong Polytechnic University/ polytechnic or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; and
• Knowledge/use of Microsoft Word and Excel; and
• Attained a level of proficiency in English Languages equivalent to Level 2 in HKCEE/HKDSE or above; and
• Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above.
• Candidate with no experience is also welcome
• Candidate with more than 5 years related experience will consider as Senior Technical Officer
