Job summary

ICBC International Holdings Limited is seeking an Associate Researcher to conduct primary and secondary research across the industrials and auto sectors in Hong Kong. You will perform fundamental and financial analysis, and independently prepare company and sector research reports along with pre-deal materials.

You will respond to client data requests, assist in ad-hoc sector projects, and participate in investor meetings, road shows, and company visits while supporting departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities required.
• Proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proven ability to mine data and extract insights from multiple sources.
• Ability to write research reports meeting regulations and internal standards.
• Clear communication of ideas and persuasive reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English; Mandarin fluency preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Proactive, responsible, and capable of multitasking under deadlines.
• Passionate about contributing to investment banking and research.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work closely with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research across the industrials and auto universe.
• Perform fundamental and financial analysis on trends of relevant industry development.
• Independently prepare and write company research reports, sector reports and Pre-deal research reports.
• Respond promptly to client requests for data, analysis, financial models, etc.
• Assist in sector related ad-hoc research projects.
• Organize and participate in non-deal road shows, forums and company visits.
• Responsible for marketing duty of meeting with investors.
• Participate in departmental projects or tasks assigned.
