Job summary

The Independent Schools Foundation Academy is seeking an Inclusive Education Aide to support a Primary School student as part of Li Ren Center. The role involves in-class and non-structured-time support, building strong relationships, and helping the student communicate needs.

You will work with teachers, Li Ren staff and parents to implement individualized plans and monitor progress. Applicants should have knowledge in inclusive education and intervention methods, experience with diverse

Qualifications

• Adequate knowledge in inclusive education and training in specialized learning and behavior intervention (e.g., ABA, English/Chinese learning intervention).
• Experience with students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, teachers and parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust support intensity in class.
• Empathic understanding, hardworking and patient.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support an individual Primary School student in class and during non-structured times.
• Build rapport and positive relationships with the identified student.
• Help the student communicate emotions and needs using appropriate means.
• Support class teachers with differentiated learning and support strategies.
• Collaborate with Teachers and Li Ren to implement learning plans.
• Communicate regularly with Assistant Principal Primary, Li Ren, Teachers, and parents.
• Document progress and participate in case reviews with suggestions.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle information sharing appropriately.
• Attend case conferences and meetings; pursue in-house professional development.
