Job summary

Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong is seeking an Officer/Assistant Officer to support the implementation of disability and inclusive programmes, reporting to the Manager, Programme.

You will help plan and coordinate projects, assist in proposal writing, and prepare bilingual publications and communications. The role requires strong English and Chinese writing skills, plus solid project management experience.

Qualifications

• A university degree with a minimum of two years' relevant experience in Arts and Cultural, Humanities, Journalism or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of the local and international performing and visual arts scene.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua a plus.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with design software and video editing is an advantage.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Officer role.

Responsibilities

• To assist in planning, implementing and enhancing the nurturing journeys of the artists.
• To assist in the coordination and production of projects and programmes.
• To participate in proposal writing, funder engagement activities and events.
• To write, translate and edit texts for bilingual publications, marketing and communication materials.
• To look out for opportunities for the artists to showcase their talents to local, regional, and international audience.
• To be responsible for project related reporting including both narrative and financial.
• To prepare monthly and regular reports for internal and external meetings.
• To support other teams on events and collaborated activities.
• To carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisors.
