Job summary

Bowtie Life Insurance Company in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned IFRS 17 specialist to drive the infrastructure setup, testing, and implementation for HKFRS 17 reporting. You will collaborate with actuaries, finance, and data engineering teams to build robust reporting processes and enable month-end close, group consolidation, and automation.

The role requires hands-on IFRS 17 / HKFRS 17 experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and certification (CPA/ACCA or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Hands-on IFRS 17 / HKFRS 17 experience required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with UAT – test cases, expected results, defects tracking and resolution.
• Hands-on group reporting and commercial experience preferred.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• IFRS 17 infrastructure setup and implementation, testing and validation.
• General ledger integration and data reconciliation with engineering teams.
• IFRS 17 policy and accounting estimation changes with audit-ready documentation.
• Gap analysis of IFRS 17 results and reporting for various stakeholders.
• IFRS 17 reporting transformation including month-end closing and group consolidation reporting.
