Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation in Hong Kong seeks an IT Business Analyst to support APAC merchandising planning via the IBP/o9 program. You will gather requirements, validate data, and execute UAT across Demand Planning, MFP/LFP, Assortment, and Location Planning. You will own delta logs, documentation packs, and KPI reporting.

The role requires 3-5 years in IT BA, strong analytical skills, data literacy, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence. Retail/fashion planning exposure is desired.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT Business Analyst experience (generalist BA acceptable).
• Strong analytical thinking and meticulous documentation.
• Solid data literacy: SQL-like logic, mappings, data reconciliation.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence; able to collaborate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements with clear acceptance criteria.
• Translate needs into BRD/functional specs, use cases, and user stories.
• Maintain APAC delta/decision log with owner, due date, and impact.
• Document source-to-target mappings for key integrations.
• Define and execute data validation/reconciliation checks and manage exceptions.
• Support phase-based readiness checkpoints for the IBP program (blueprint/interface freeze, SIT/UAT).
• Coordinate actions across stakeholders via backlog/defect discipline (Jira/Confluence).
• Lead working sessions with cross-functional teams to confirm scope and readiness.
• Consolidate feedback into backlog items and defects with severity and impact.
• Maintain Jira/Confluence as source of truth for requirements, backlog, and releases.
• Capture KPI requirements for IBP outputs and define drill paths.
• Produce lightweight wireframes/prototypes (Power BI/Excel/PPT) to validate KPI definitions.
