Job summary

Thales Hong Kong is seeking a Sales Engineer for Identity & Access Management to lead pre-sales and technical support across Greater China, Korea, and Japan. You will articulate the value of IAM solutions, perform product demonstrations, develop proofs of concepts, and tailor designs for partners and direct accounts.

The role requires 5+ years in IT with customer-facing experience, strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel up to 35% in Asia.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or similar subject.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a customer-facing role.
• Consultative selling ability and strong presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 35% within Asia and work with partners and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales to identify and quantify opportunities and articulate the technical value proposition.
• Provide pre-sales support, product demos, POCs, RFP/RFI responses, and tailored solutions.
• Deliver field support to ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
• Develop customer and partner relationships and deliver accurate technical proposals.
