Job summary

Sompo Insurance (Hong Kong) Ltd. (SHK) is seeking an Assistant Claims Manager to join our Claims team.

You will manage end-to-end complex casualty and liability claims, with a strong emphasis on CGL, and support the development of Financial Lines claims capability for D&O, PI, and Cyber. The role requires solid technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Casualty/Liability claims handling, with CGL exposure.
• Experience with Financial Lines (D&O, PI, Cyber) is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; ANZIIF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end complex casualty and liability claims, especially CGL.
• Assist development of Financial Lines claims capability (D&O, PI, Cyber).
• Conduct investigations to assess liability, coverage, and quantum with stakeholders.
• Drive effective settlements within delegated authority.
• Ensure regulatory and governance compliance across the claims lifecycle.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, brokers, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and improve service.
