Job summary
The Hong Kong And China Gas Co Ltd is seeking an HSE Engineer to conduct technical safety audits for group projects and joint ventures, and to compose and review technical guidelines for new businesses and continuous improvement. You will gather data for preventive controls across business units, analyze safety performance, plan safety promotions and support China projects.
A bachelor degree in engineering or safety with 2+ years' experience is required; bilingual in Chinese and English;
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Safety required.
- 2+ years relevant experience, preferably in gas engineering.
- Strong communication in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical safety audits for Group projects and joint ventures.
- Compose and review technical guidelines for new businesses and continuous improvement.
- Gather data for preventive control measures across all business units.
- Analyze Group Safety Performance and suggest management measures for accident prevention.
- Plan and organize Group Safety Promotion themes and activities.
- Review Group HSE Management System documentation.
- Provide technical support on HSE issues to Business Units.
