Job summary
China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to develop and maintain the project safety management system, advise on improvements, and ensure compliance with new OHS requirements.
The role requires a Certificate in OHS, 5 years’ construction safety experience, and fluent English and Chinese; Registered Safety Officer status is expected, with Auditor qualifications a plus. Based on Hong Kong operations, competitive benefits apply.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction site safety
- Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
- Registered Safety Officer status preferred
- Registered Safety Auditor will be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain safety management system for the project
- Advise management on measures for improving OHS performance
- Update with new OHS legislation, codes of practice and relevant requirements
- Conduct safety training
- Carry out safety inspections
- Prepare project safety documents and reports
