Job summary

Cathay Pacific Group's Information Technology Department (IMT) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support HR transformation initiatives and AI projects across Cathay Pacific.

You will lead all HR project activities, manage budgets and vendors, coordinate governance forums, and drive cross‑functional delivery to meet scope and schedule.

Applicants should have a degree in IT or related disciplines, 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in PM, PMP certification, and solid HRMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Business or related area.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.
• Proven experience in managing OPEX cost/budget.
• Knowledge of HR operations and HRMS platform delivery.
• Ability to multitask and lead multiple cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR project activities to deliver on time, within scope and budget.
• Analyze proposals, define timelines, funding needs, and delivery approaches.
• Manage system integrators and vendors, ensuring milestones and contractual commitments.
• Engage stakeholders across Cathay and regional units to meet programme objectives.
• Present status, risks and recommendations at governance forums.
• Lead cross-team collaboration to deliver business and technology solutions aligned with goals.
• Coach and mentor teams, driving accountability and performance.
