Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) in Hong Kong is seeking an HR Executive, Operations to join on a one-year contract. The role focuses on delivering HR services, administering employee benefits, processing work visas, and supporting HRIS initiatives.

The successful candidate will maintain HR records, advise on employment matters, and coordinate onboarding for new teachers, with a requirement for a degree in HRM, proficiency in English and Cantonese, and knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM or related discipline.
• Experience with Workday HRIS is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of relevant HR experience, especially with expatriate employment.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Good knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and visa application processes.
• Mature, well-organised and able to work independently.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant HR Executive.

Responsibilities

• Provides HR services including benefits administration (MPF etc).
• Processing of work visa applications and renewals
• Assist in implementing the Workday HRIS
• Maintains and updates HR database and records
• Provide professional advice on employment-related issues to schools
• Coordinates onboarding arrangements for new teachers and assists in induction events
