Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student graduating between Sep 2027 and Jul 2028 in IT/CS or related discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 (or Second Class Honours Upper Division) or equivalent.
• Passion for technology, innovation and its application in financial markets.

Job Summary: Job Duties:

HKEX Summer Internship Programme offer interns a unique experience in global markets, with the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, take on direct responsibility for work and projects, and be part of a fun and ambitious team right at the heart of global markets. In joining us, you will gain insight into life at work at HKEX, while developing practical on-the-job experience. The programme kicks off in June and continues through into August. The maximum employment period for each intern is 10 weeks.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are penultimate-year students graduating between September 2027 and July 2028 with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Are on track to achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5 (out of a GPA 4.0 scale), Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or equivalent
• Demonstrate a passion for technology, innovation and the application of technology in financial markets and show curiosity about emerging technologies.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Are curious, adaptable and eager to embrace new challenges.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate excellent command of written and spoken English.
