Houlihan Lokey, Inc. is seeking an Associate for our Hong Kong office within the Financial Restructuring Group.

You will work on complex, high-impact transactions across Greater China, including debtor- and creditor-side restructurings, liability management, and distressed M&A. The Hong Kong team collaborates with clients and sponsors to deliver bespoke capital structure solutions and execute multi-stakeholder transactions.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, leveraged finance or related advisory field.
• Strong academic record from a reputable university.
• Demonstrated interest in financial restructuring, capital solutions, and complex transactions.
• Excellent quantitative, financial, and analytical skills.
• Strong LBO and DCF modelling capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Build and review detailed financial models.
• Coordinate and perform business and financial due diligence.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda and client presentations.
• Perform valuation analyses and support negotiations with creditors and stakeholders.
• Lead day-to-day execution of live transactions and marketing processes.
• Maintain direct relationships with clients and professional advisors.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Assist in business development and origination of new engagements.
