Job summary

Bowen Capital (HK) Limited is seeking an Investment Analyst to identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the Biotech/Tech sector across global equity markets. You will perform deep fundamental research and contribute to portfolio construction.

You will collaborate with the CIO/PM on idea generation, position sizing and portfolio risk/reward decisions, building detailed financial models and providing timely insights on catalysts and market developments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years buy-side experience, hedge fund background preferred.
• Biotech/Tech sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

A fundamental long/short equity fund is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Analyst (Biotech/Tech sector)

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and monitoring investment opportunities across global equity markets, with flexibility to cover multiple sectors as required.

Job Description

This is a high-impact role with direct responsibility for generating and developing investment ideas, conducting deep fundamental research, and contributing to portfolio construction.

Collaborate closely with the CIO/PM on idea generation, position sizing, and portfolio risk/reward decisions

Conduct bottom-up company and industry analysis, build and maintain detailed financial models, and produce clear, well-argued investment recommendations

Continuously monitor existing positions, key catalysts, and market developments, updating the investment team with timely insights and recommendations

The Successful Applicant

Biotech/Tech sector is preferred

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field

At least 3–5 years of buy-side experience, with a strong preference for candidates currently working at or previously trained in a hedge fund environment
