Job summary

Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital under the Hong Kong Island Cluster seeks an Operation Assistant II to support the Supporting Services Department. The role covers housekeeping, transportation, foreman office and NEATS portering tasks with frontline supervision to ensure ward and department service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3 years in hospital services, strong Cantonese, basic English, and the ability to read and write Chinese.

Qualifications

• Completed F.5 / S.5 with passes including English and Chinese, or HKDSE with Level 2 English and Chinese.
• 1 year of working experience in hospital services, cleansing, store/logistics, facilities, property management, supervisory or customer services.
• 3 years of relevant working experience in hospital services, cleansing services, store/logistics management, facilities or property management, supervisory or customer services.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operation of Supporting Services Department (Housekeeping, Transportation, Foreman Office or NEATS Portering Team), including order dispatch, manpower deployment and leading frontline staff to support wards and departments.
• Assist in management of Siu Sai Wan Health Integrated Building.
• Assist in management of overnight room and department equipment/items.
• Liaise with users and service contractors for day-to-day services.
• Conduct routine inspection and monitor frontline staff performance.
• Compile statistical reports and maintain duty rosters and staff records.
• Assist in staff training.
• Assist in handling emergencies and disasters.
• Perform cleansing or transportation tasks if necessary.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisors.
