Job summary

Changi General Hospital (CGH) is seeking a proactive and driven Manager, Office of Innovation to support and accelerate healthcare innovation initiatives from concept to implementation and commercialisation.

Lead end-to-end innovation projects, manage grants programmes, and build partnerships with clinicians, academia, funding agencies, industry partners, and startups to translate ideas into clinical and commercial impact.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Industrial Design or related field from a reputable University.
• At least 5 years of experience in innovation management, project management, grants administration, healthcare, research, or a related field.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Experience in grant management, healthcare innovation, academia–industry collaboration, or technology commercialisation will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage innovation projects end-to-end, including project scoping, budgeting, funding applications, stakeholder engagement, project administration, and closure.
• Drive project adoption, scaling, and value realisation to achieve meaningful clinical, operational, and commercial outcomes.
• Manage and coordinate internal innovation grant programmes, including grant calls, application reviews, award administration, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with clinicians, operational teams, academia, funding agencies, industry partners, SMEs, and startups.
• Support technology transfer and commercialisation activities, including IP portfolio management, market analysis, business planning, and identification of commercialisation partners.
• Organise innovation workshops, events, and engagement activities to promote a culture of innovation and design thinking within CGH.
• Support the operational and administrative functions of the Office of Innovation, including budget planning and supervision of interns.
