Job summary

ActAI is seeking a Manager, Technical Talent Acquisition to lead the global technical recruiting function. You will own hiring across AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, and engineering leadership, shaping strategy, team structure, and cadence to meet ambitious growth goals.

You will personally lead critical searches, drive hiring bars, and partner with founders and engineering leaders to ensure high-quality hires. Build a world-class recruiting function across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience in software engineering, AI/ML or other highly technical talent.
• Proven track record building and leading technical recruiting for a high-growth technology company while remaining hands-on.
• Strong understanding of engineering and AI talent markets; assess technical profiles for substance and relevance.
• Demonstrated success hiring senior engineers, technical leaders and scarce talent via proactive headhunting.
• Experience building, managing and raising performance of technical recruiting teams.

Responsibilities

• Own technical hiring globally across ActAI, including AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, web and mobile engineering leadership.
• Build the technical recruiting strategy, team structure and operating cadence to meet hiring goals.
• Lead critical searches end-to-end from market mapping to offer negotiation and closing.
• Set standards for candidate quality based on actual technical contribution and workload.
• Partner with founders and engineering leadership to define hiring bars and interview processes.
• Coach a high-performing recruiting team; improve sourcing, assessment and candidate management.
• Use data and market intel to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring quality and speed.
• Build scalable recruiting processes and talent networks across US, Europe and Asia.
