Job summary
FWD Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Underwriting Production Manager to lead a team handling underwriting assessments and service support for distribution channels (agency focus). You will develop and implement underwriting frameworks, policies and guidelines, and monitor new business processing to meet SLAs with quality service.
The ideal candidate holds a university degree (FLMI preferred) and has 10+ years in life and medical underwriting, including 5+ years in management.
Qualifications
- University degree required; FLMI preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of life/medical underwriting experience, with 5+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead underwriting production team handling assessments and service support for distribution channels (agency focus).
- Develop and implement underwriting frameworks, policies and procedure guidelines.
- Monitor new business processing to ensure SLAs are met with high quality service.
- Perform underwriting assessments and review cases within approval limits.
- Identify process improvements to enhance customer service delivery.
