Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited is seeking an experienced Transfer Agent professional to manage day-to-day TA deliverables, client communications and ongoing system enhancements.

The candidate should have a university degree and at least seven years’ transfer agency experience, with in-depth knowledge of fund operations for SFC authorized funds, OFC, Cayman funds and MRF, plus strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of transfer agency experience.
• In-depth knowledge of fund operations for SFC authorized funds, OFC, Cayman funds and MRF.
• Experience in shares processing, equalization, fund launch and fund termination.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in day-to-day TA deliverables and operational running, including process subscriptions & redemption orders, arrange redemption payment and dividend payment/reinvestment, issuing contract notes & dealing summaries. Handling investor account opening and KYC issues.
• Review and sign-off of TA reports/confirmations or any hoc reports as requested.
• Negotiate with clients or other relevant parties on all operation-related issues.
• Provide investor services related queries and manage the issues to resolution
• Coaching and provide guidance to junior staff
• Participate in ad hoc projects and system enhancement.
• Review and oversee all annual audit works, ensuring timely issuance of auditor reports.
