Job summary

Caitong Securities (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is seeking a senior finance leader to manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting and budgeting. You will drive treasury activities, liaise with PRC teams and external auditors, and oversee audits and regulatory filings.

The role requires a qualified accountant with HKICPA/ACCA, a minimum of 10 years in brokerage accounting, and fluency in English and Putonghua. Competitive remuneration and career prospects are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in brokerage accounting with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Familiar with HK accounting standards, taxation and SFC regulations.
• Integrity, ethics, professionalism with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Putonghua.

• Manage audit processes, statutory and tax filings.
• Coordinate with PRC finance, risk, auditors, IRD and banks.
• Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments.

Job description

1.Manage the finance team for daily operations of all the financial and accounting related-issues

2.Responsible for financial reporting, planning, budgeting and statutory financial reporting including SFC returns

3.Prepare and deliver monthly group consolidated financial and management report and performance commentary to Management

4.Responsible for the financial management reporting to PRC head office

5.Drive and monitor all treasure, banking, and fundraising activities

6.Ensure compliance with group’s in-house policies and guidelines and financial regulatory requirements

7.Manage audit process, statutory and tax filings

8.Liaise with PRC finance and risk management teams, external auditors, IRD and banks etc.

9.Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments.

Requirements: -

1.Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

2.Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent

3.At least 10 years of experience in brokerage accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, demonstrating proven expertise and leadership.

4.Familiar with HK accounting standards, taxation, SFC regulations
