Job summary

Cyberport Hong Kong is seeking a senior leader to drive public mission work and lead entrepreneurship programs within a dynamic tech ecosystem. You will guide the Entrepreneurship Team from ideation bootcamps to investor demo days, delivering measurable value to startups and stakeholders.

You will build a robust mentor network, forge strategic partnerships with academia, industry, accelerators and funders, and oversee the incubation portfolio with hands-on guidance and rigorous reviews.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of startup incubation or entrepreneurship program leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Management or related fields.
• MBA or MSc is advantageous.
• Experience with startups, incubators, accelerators, or tech parks.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to mobilize diverse audiences.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution.
• Strong stakeholder management from founders to government agencies.
• Extensive network within innovation, investment and startups.
• Strong business acumen to evaluate viability and market potential.
• Proficient in planning and leading multiple projects with teams.
• Resilience under pressure.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Chinese and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Report to Chief Public Mission Officer to carry out public mission work
• Lead Entrepreneurship Team to design and lead entrepreneurship programs, from ideation bootcamps to investor demo days, ensuring they deliver measurable values to startups
• Build and manage a high-impact mentor network, connecting founders with industry experts, researchers and seasoned entrepreneurs
• Forge strategic partnerships with academia, industries, accelerators, and funding bodies to expand opportunities for startups
• Oversee the incubation portfolio, tracking progress, identifying growth barriers, and providing hands-on guidance to founders through regular reviews
• Represent the incubator (Cyberport) at conferences, pitch events, and policy forums, positioning Cyberport as a leader in innovation and startup ecosystem
• Manage budgets, resources and KPls to ensure sustainable growth of the entrepreneurship program
• Perform other duties as assigned
