Job summary

Manulife's GWAM Asia Technology Strategy team seeks an AVP to shape the Asia technology roadmap, translate global strategy into local action, and lead AI-enabled transformation across the region.

You will partner with Global GWAM, regional teams, and operations to drive engineering excellence, platform reuse, and secure deployment practices while balancing speed, cost, resilience, and risk.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to develop and manage a technology strategy across multi-market environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated Asia technology strategy, aligning business priorities with global direction.
• Serve as Asia partner to Global GWAM Technology Strategy and Architecture leadership.
• Translate global strategies into executable Asia adoption plans with clear ownership and milestones.
• Establish strategy-management cadence covering investments, roadmap progress, risks, and changing conditions.
• Lead Asia AI-transformation agenda including AI-assisted engineering and workflow transformation.
