Job summary

Manulife Asia is seeking a Head of Strategy and Transformation based in Hong Kong. You will lead strategy development, portfolio governance and priority transformation programs, partnering with country leaders and the Global Strategy team to drive profitable growth and disciplined execution.

The role requires extensive strategy experience in financial services, strong leadership, and the ability to align enterprise priorities with Asia’s agenda.

Qualifications

• Strategy development experience; ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Experience in multinational financial services and/or insurance; life insurance knowledge preferred.
• Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
• MBA or advanced/postgraduate designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Asia growth strategy and business case for change, driving commitment.
• Size growth opportunities from internal/external data and define success metrics.
• Drive annual strategic planning with Finance and prioritize initiatives.
• Ensure governance and alignment across Asia and Enterprise priorities.
• Monitor and report strategic/financial results and provide executive counsel.
• Lead priority transformation programs with clear scope, timing and budget.
