Job summary

Linklaters Asia is seeking a senior Communications & Corporate Affairs Lead to helm the regional function. You will advise senior leaders, shape messaging, and drive media engagement to protect and elevate the firm’s reputation across Asia and globally.

You will lead two direct reports, collaborate with global teams, and ensure consistency with the firm’s overall communications strategy while delivering high-impact thought leadership and proactive campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience leading communications for a global organisation in Asia.
• Proven media relations and crisis communications track record.
• Leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong network of regional media relationships.
• Experience with regional and cross-border projects.
• Knowledge of legal/regulatory disclosures in the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asia communications function and manage senior stakeholders.
• Align regional activities with global strategy.
• Develop and deliver regional media engagement plans.
• Advise leadership and manage proactive media campaigns.
• Oversee press releases, statements, Q&A and briefing materials.
• Coordinate responses to reputational risk per global frameworks.
• Analyse trends and report insights to exec and board.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams.
• Develop and mentor two direct reports.
• Manage relationships with external agencies.
