meptalent is partnering with a leading restaurant group to appoint a Head Chef for a new venue in Hong Kong. The role requires 8+ years in Indian cuisine within reputable or Michelin-starred settings, plus proven leadership to guide a Michelin-standard kitchen and staff.

You will drive menu innovation, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with the Group Executive Chef and Front of House to deliver exceptional dining experiences while managing costs for long-term profitability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with Indian cuisines in reputable or Michelin-starred restaurants.
• Demonstrated leadership in a Michelin-level kitchen and team.
• Ability to mentor and grow talent across the kitchen and restaurant.
• Strong financial acumen to manage costs and drive profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Michelin-star level kitchen and team to uphold excellence in all areas of restaurant operation.
• Attract, recruit, and hire top culinary talent.
• Cultivate a positive, productive work environment.
• Collaborate with the Group Executive Chef to create and develop dishes true to the cuisine.
• Train the team on recipes and dish execution.
• Collaborate with Front of House to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure smooth and profitable daily operation of the kitchen.
