Job summary

The University of Hong Kong invites applications for the role of Manager / Assistant Manager - Business Development and Marketing in the Campus Services Office. The role focuses on expanding campus services, shaping marketing strategy, and building strategic partnerships to support financial sustainability.

The successful candidate will lead branding, digital campaigns, content marketing, and analytics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
• Not less than 5 years of proven work experience in brand-building, marketing campaign management, digital marketing, content marketing, or external communications
• Ability to manage fast-paced projects and collaborate with internal/external teams
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and present strategy
• Excellent communication in English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Familiarity with AI tools, social media management, Canva, and Microsoft Office; Google Analytics

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and expand opportunities for CSO’s service-oriented endeavors by identifying new markets and forging partnerships
• Support development of promotional strategies and execute marketing plans to boost brand visibility
• Analyze market trends and research potential markets and partnerships
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare proposals, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate agreements
• Monitor industry developments and present reports to management
• Plan and monitor marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels and analyze results
• Coordinate with website vendors to develop landing pages and content uploads
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure timely campaigns
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned
