CLP Power Hong Kong is seeking a contract accountant to manage financial accounting and reporting for a group of companies, including period-end closing, journal entries and account analysis. You will assemble statutory accounts and reporting packages to the holding company and perform reconciliations and variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Oracle knowledge is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
• Detail oriented with clear communication.
• Able to work with moderate supervision.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial accounting and reporting of a group of companies, including period-end closing, journal entries, account analysis and related reporting.
• Prepare statutory accounts, supporting schedules, and reporting packages to holding company.
• Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis and periodic management reports.
• Coordinate invoicing, payments, funding requirements and cash flow forecasts, and prepared related schedules.
• Support accounting and reporting matters arising from joint venture operations, interacting with relevant teams and counterparts to resolve discrepancies/ issues.
• Assist in handling accounting, audit and tax related matters, including preparation of supporting information where required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant CLP accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Provide support on other ad-hoc assignments.
