Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage month-end closing, daily financial accounting across related entities, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will review FRR reporting for SFC licensed entities, prepare reconciliations and year-end tax filings, and coach junior staff while supporting external audits. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and HKICPA membership are required, with strong teamwork and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership.
• Team player, good personality and motivation.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, experience in SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end closing, daily financial accounting & bookkeeping of related legal entities
• Review daily and monthly FRR reporting of SFC licensed corporations
• Prepare various reconciliation reports and month end financial reports
• Provide coaching to the team and review work performed by junior team members
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and year-end tax filing
• Assist in year-end audit & regulatory assignments
• Engage in ad-hoc projects as required
