Hawthorn Bay Limited on Hong Kong Island seeks an experienced Group Head Chef (Multi-Unit / Corporate Leadership) to oversee culinary operations across venues. You will lead the team, ensure quality, and shape the gastronomic vision for the portfolio.

The role requires 10+ years in professional kitchens, with at least 5 years in senior leadership, strong cost control, and HACCP compliance. English and Cantonese communication is advantageous as you collaborate with management and frontline teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional culinary experience, with at least 5 years in a head chef or senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multi-unit culinary operations in hospitality or restaurant groups.
• Formal culinary training or related degree/diploma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive culinary vision across multi-unit properties to ensure brand consistency.
• Oversee menu development, seasonal offerings and culinary innovation across the group portfolio.
• Lead, train and mentor culinary teams across multiple locations.
• Establish and enforce food safety, hygiene and health standards per local regulations.
• Monitor food costs and supplier relationships to optimise quality and profitability.
• Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits to maintain standards.
