Michael Page (Hong Kong) seeks a Group CIO to shape IT strategy across a multi-market organisation. You will lead global IT governance, enterprise architecture and investment priorities, aligning with manufacturing digitalisation goals.

The role requires substantial international experience, Mandarin and English fluency, and willingness to base in China with regular travel across markets. You will influence executives and oversee major technology programmes.

Qualifications

• Advance manufacturing digitalisation through the integration of enterprise applications, operational systems and data.
• Oversee major technology programmes, ensuring clear accountability, effective execution and measurable business outcomes.
• Strengthen cybersecurity, data governance, technology risk management and business continuity.
• Manage IT budgets, geographically dispersed teams and external technology partners.
• Advise senior executives on technology investments, transformation priorities and operational implications.

The Successful Applicant

• Previous experience as Group CIO of an enterprise with annual revenue of at least RMB 100 billion, or an enterprise ranked among the Fortune Global 200.
• Demonstrated for group-wide IT strategy, governance, budgets and organisational management.
• Substantial international experience, including accountability for IT operations and teams across multiple countries.
• A proven record of delivering digital transformation in manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise of enterprise systems, manufacturing applications, data architecture and IT/OT integration.
• Commercial judgement and the ability to influence executive and board level.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to conduct executive discussions and presentations in both languages.
• Willingness to be based in China and undertake regular international travel.
