Pyramid Global Technologies seeks a Grid Intelligence Technology Leader in Hong Kong to advance analytics and platforms for power distribution and grid protection. You will lead engineering teams, interface with data scientists and stakeholders, and drive deployment of on-premise and cloud-based solutions for protection, control and health monitoring.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of deep domain expertise with the power distribution and utilities industry.
• Strong experience designing technology solutions for power systems protection and distribution automation.
• Ability to perform complex engineering calculations and analyses using state-of-the-art simulation and modeling.
• 5+ years in power system protection, control and health monitoring.
• Experience with sensing technologies to enhance observability and controllability of modern power grid.
• Experience implementing new technologies for protection, control and monitoring (FLISR, AMI, VVC, etc.).
• Experience in project-based development and lean software development in matrixed organizations.
• Experience in developing on-premise and/or cloud-based data-driven methods for power system applications.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and interfacing with diverse stakeholders including developers, data scientists, leadership, engineers.
• Respond to RFPs, design solution requirements, and be the client’s point of contact for roadmap.

Job Description:

Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have:

• 10+ years of deep domain expertise with the power distribution and utilities industry.
• Demonstrated strong experience in developing and designing technology solutions for power systems protection and distribution automation.
• Ability to perform complex engineering calculations and analyses by using state-of-the-art simulation and modeling techniques.
• 5+ years of experience in power system protection, control and health monitoring.
• Experience with various sensing technologies to enhance observability and controllability of modern power grid such as optical-based powerline sensor, microPMU, thermal imaging camera, etc.
• Experience with implementation of new technologies for one or more of power system protection, control and monitoring systems (FLISR, AMI, integrated Volt/VAR control, adaptive protection, etc.)
• Experience in project-based development (including lean software development) and work in matrixed organization
• Experience in developing on-premise and/or cloud-based data-driven methods for power system applications.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements, and interfacing with a diverse range of stakeholders including backend developers, data scientists, executive leadership, mechanical and electrical engineers, and frontline workers.
• Respond to RFP documents, put together solution requirements and design, system customization and configuration, align service offerings and ultimately be the client’s point of contact for maintaining the software solution roadmap.
• Develop templates and best practices for software solution deployment into utilities client accounts, working with the regional professional services/delivery team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams to high value solutions
• Familiar with IEEE, IEC standards and industry reliability standards
• Strong software/hardware development skills for rapid prototyping
• Business acumen with proven record of formulating value proposition.
