Job summary

Wellington Management’s Greater China Client Team in Hong Kong seeks a Business Associate to support growth and deepen relationships with institutional clients. This entry-level role collaborates with the Hong Kong & Taiwan team on development, servicing, and client delivery across a portfolio of relationships.

The BA will assist in business development, RFPs, meeting logistics, and client inquiries while coordinating with relationship managers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Passion for learning about global capital markets.
• Knowledge of equity, fixed income, or multi-asset products preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduates with strong academics.
• Organized, detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and time management.
• English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) proficiency; additional languages a plus.
• Desire to work in a team-based, collaborative environment; pursuing CFA/CAIA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support business development managers with live opportunities and RFPs; assist in pitch material coordination and follow-ups.
• Coordinate and prepare for client/prospect meetings: materials, notes, and post-meeting follow-ups.
• Handle client inquiries on product/strategy, portfolio and market questions; assist with complex deliverables.
• Support relationship managers on bespoke client requests and non-standard processes.
• Maintain internal client databases and track business metrics.
• Assist external client seminars and events (logistics, materials, analytics).
• Build internal networks and coordinate with stakeholders for collaboration.
