Job summary

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. in Hong Kong invites applications for an entry-level Graduate Engineer role within our HK operations.

You will work under close supervision on discrete areas of construction projects, gaining exposure across civil and mechanical disciplines. The role requires a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, fluency in English and Chinese, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Entry level for Graduate under close supervision on discrete areas of work in construction projects.
• Monitor progress of works in line with Works Program.
• Enforce and ensure all safety and environmental matters to be in accordance with company policy and project plan.
• Keep site records and prepare site daily reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on site in planning for work schedules and meeting program dates.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese;
• Work independently, strong initiative, mature, good commitment to work and have a strong sense of responsibility;
• Successful candidates will be arranged to join the HKIE's Graduate Engineer Training Program (Scheme "A" )
