Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area; Masters preferred
• Qualified Teacher Certification required
• Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant grade level or subject area
• Experience in international schools and familiarity with American educational system preferred
• Experience teaching ESL students preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare coherent instruction aligned with HKIS curriculum outcomes
• Design differentiated learning experiences to meet diverse student needs
• Deliver instruction using varied strategies and evidence-based practices
• Assess student learning with formative and summative measures and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment rubrics and exemplars
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and manage routines effectively
• Engage in professional responsibilities including data-driven planning and school community involvement
