English Schools Foundation’s Kennedy School in Hong Kong is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Chinese for an early-career educator to join a collaborative, dynamic learning community. This role focuses on designing inclusive, hands-on Chinese language and culture experiences within an IB PYP framework.

You will differentiate instruction, use learning technologies, and foster a culture where every student thrives.

Qualifications

Must hold a teaching qualification or equivalent with Chinese language expertise.
Experience or readiness to teach in an IB PYP international school context.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver Chinese language and cultural learning engagements aligned with IBO philosophy.
Create and monitor individual learning plans using flexible groupings and differentiation.
Maintain an organized, student-centered environment and integrate learning technologies.
Identify and address learning barriers, offering choice and flexible assessment options.
Use diverse assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Foster strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and caregivers through clear communication.
Participate in ESF CPD and reflect on teaching to improve outcomes.
Contribute to school initiatives and department projects.
Assist with or lead in specific areas within the department.
